How much does it cost to build a Bathtub Racer?
This will vary depending on whether you build it yourself at home, or you order a racer in varying stages of completion from Opua Marina Boatyard.
The following guide will give you an idea but we suggest you contact the Boatyard Boatbuilding Manager, Graeme Ridgen on 027 465 3423 or email email@example.com
Bay of Islands Boatyard is well positioned to manufacture hull and deck moulds to specifications. The process involves making a mould from a racing hull the yard has recently purchased. It is then able to produce a bathtub racer to varying standards and customer requirements.
The hulls manufactured are white and of a high quality finish available for immediate use. Customers can paint names or apply decals readily. It includes the transom and necessary bulk heads but does not include the bath tub itself.
